Author & Organizer Guidelines

All conference manuscripts submitted for publication in ACTANOVA Conference Proceedings must represent original, unpublished scholarly research. Authors must adhere strictly to standard scientific paper conventions:

1. Structure: Title, Authors & Affiliations (with ROR IDs & ORCIDs), Structured Abstract (150–250 words), 3–6 Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments/Funding, and References (IMRaD format).
2. Length: Standard full-length conference papers typically range between 6 to 12 pages. Short papers or extended abstracts should adhere to the specific conference volume limits.
3. Formatting: Use standard single-column camera-ready templates provided by the conference organizing committee. All equations, figures (min. 300 DPI), and tables must be sequentially numbered and cited in the main text.
4. References: References must follow IEEE or APA 7th style with valid DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) included wherever available.

Publisher upholds rigorous quality assurance for all conference proceedings. Conference organizers and scientific committees must conduct an authentic, rigorous peer review process:

• Double-Blind Peer Review: Both author and reviewer identities remain anonymous throughout the evaluation cycle.
• Reviewer Quorum: Each submitted manuscript must receive detailed evaluations from at least two independent, qualified peer reviewers with domain expertise.
• Evaluation Criteria: Manuscripts are assessed based on technical novelty, scientific validity, methodological rigor, clarity of exposition, and relevance to the conference scope.
• Editorial Decision: The Conference Scientific Committee or Guest Editors make final acceptance or rejection decisions based on reviewer recommendations.

All parties involved in the conference publication lifecycle (authors, conference organizers, peer reviewers, and publisher) must adhere to the COPE Core Practices and ethical standards:

• Authorship: All named authors must have made significant intellectual contributions to the research design, execution, or interpretation. Gift or ghost authorship is strictly prohibited.
• Originality & Prior Publication: Simultaneous submission to multiple venues or redundant publication of previously published work is prohibited.
• Data Integrity: Authors must guarantee data veracity. Fabrication, falsification, or deceptive data manipulation constitute severe scientific misconduct.

ACTANOVA enforces a strict zero-tolerance approach toward academic plagiarism and uncredited text appropriation:

• Similarity Screening: All submitted papers are screened using automated anti-plagiarism tools (Turnitin / iThenticate). The maximum acceptable overall similarity index is 20%, with no single source exceeding 3%.
• Generative AI Policy: Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) cannot be listed as authors. If AI tools were utilized to assist in drafting, coding, or translating, authors must transparently disclose tool name, version, and prompt purpose in a dedicated AI Declaration section.

To maintain open-access publishing, persistent Crossref DOI registration, JATS XML typesetting, and perpetual digital archiving, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies to accepted papers:

• Standard Rate: IDR 250,000 (Domestic) or $30 USD (International) per published paper.
• Fee Transparency: There are no submission fees, color charges, or page surcharges. APC fees are billed only after formal acceptance.
• Waiver Policy: Full or partial waivers are available upon request for unfunded student authors and researchers from low-income countries.
